I have a new laptop and each time I download mozilla firefox (from mozila.org), I get mysearchdial along with it. I have installed and removed it twice . When mozilla is removed again, mysearchdial seems to disappear, so I am assuming that the download is infected. I am reluctant to try again in case mysearchdial gets a hold on other programmes on my computer - but I would prefer to use mozilla firefox.

Moreover before installing a fresh copy please perform malware scan
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.

Hello Aman,
I followed your instructions and was able to scan with the first five sites. The first site that you gave picked up mysearchdial references and eliminated them and I did not see any reference to problems identified on the other scans that I did from the other sites. Site six was not available when I tried it and the remaining sites were a bit confusing for me. I downloaded the site from your link and this seems to have worked.
Thank you so very much for your help.
