There is a bug here, I think. Have you noticed ? Take a message with an attachment in your reception box. Then, run the (usefull) attachment deletion function natively provided in Thunderbird (right-click on the attached file / delete). What happens ? The attached piece has disappeared, yes. But the whole message in the reception box is also automatically and unduely moved to the "bin".

This is very annoying problem, from my point of view. Can you see it and reproduce it ? Thanks for help and information on the subject.

Hi Wayne, Yes, I just made the test. It also happens under safe mode with add-ons deactivated.

I also noticed that if the message in question has two files attached to it, the problem does not occur when I delete the first one of these. I mean message is not deleted at this step.

But, when I delete the second attachement... the message disappears and it is moved to the litter (bin) folder.

Am I alone to see this strange behavior ? Regards
