Two or three times now I have requested that a message be moved from my inbox to another folder and nothing seems to happen. No complaint happens nor does the message get moved. I tried both the right click / move and drag and drop and neither did anything.

Logging out and back in does not fix the problem but doing a restart does.

Restarting the computer fixes the problem… you mean until it eventually reappears again, or what?

Try re-indexing the folder: right-click on it, choose Properties, then click Repair Folder.
