New yahoo mail keeps making me login, but then loops back, never logging me in
Yahoo email updated a little over a week ago and after a few days it started bringing up the login screen randomly (though I'm set to remain logged in for 2 weeks) and when I log in it loops back to the login screen and does not log me in (until eventually, maybe 10 minutes or a hour later it lets me in but then it might log me out 10 seconds later).
I changed to "no proxy" and unchecked the hardware accelerator to speed up (as navigation had also slowed down with the new Yahoo email).
Any ideas? This is so frustrating!

Hi MissyKrissy, we have another thread where one Yahoo! accounts works normally and the other does not (I can't access my primary Yahoo! account on Firefox.) -- unfortunately we have not solved that yet. You might check that thread to see whether any of the suggestions there are helpful.
Hi pattieanne, based on past threads about getting logged out automatically, could you check your Firefox connection settings?
For best results, try "No Proxy" here:
(WIN) orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
(MAC) Firefox menu > Preferences > Advanced
On the "Network" mini-tab, click the "Settings" button to check and adjust proxy settings.
bahnbino,
I don't know if you figured out a solution to this, but in case anyone else is searching for help and stumbles across this thread, I was having the same problem on both Chrome and Firefox on my computer, and Safari on my phone. I got mine working again, but I'm not exactly sure what worked, so I'll just write everything I did.
First, I found advice on help threads to clear my browsers' cookies and cache, and to update Java and Adobe Flash. I tried clearing the cache and cookies, as suggested, but that did nothing. Next, I tried updating Java and Adobe Flash. I still couldn't get in.
I tried to click Account Information and it made me activate some sort of profile first, so I did. Then I could access Account Information.
In Account Info, I created a sign-in seal and fiddled with the settings under the three options that started with "Manage." I also reviewed my recent login activity and found someone had been logging in in another state from mobile, so i disabled Mobile from (I think) Manage Apps and whatnot.
Again, I'm not sure which thing worked so I don't know what was unnecessary, and I'm not sure if I left anything out. The problem definately went away at some point after I activated the profile, but I don't think that was all it took.
Best of luck, -j
