Mozilla Monitor is a data breach notification service offered by Mozilla that warns you if your online accounts have been involved in a data leak. Using the Have I Been Pwned database, Mozilla Monitor keeps track of known data breaches, notifies you if your online accounts are compromised, and provides guidance on how to protect yourself going forward.

Resolve data breaches

  1. Open your web browser and go to the Mozilla Monitor website at monitor.mozilla.org.
  2. Sign in to your Mozilla account.
    Mozilla account login
  3. In the Action needed section you will find details about the breaches involving your email address, along with recommendations on the steps you should take to protect your personal information. For example, if a breach exposed your password, you should change it right away and also for any other accounts that use the same password. Follow the instructions on the screen to resolve each of the items listed and check the boxes on the right-hand side as you do so.
