I think the new update shrank the space above the tabs. When I try to find solutions, all I find are chrome users complaining about the space and ways to shrink it. However, I want that space back. It shifts my workspace, and it was one of the features I really liked from Firefox that differed from Chrome.

Or, I'm just losing my mind and having to remove the new sidebar just completely threw me off.

Any thoughts on this will be very much appreciated. I have 2 email accounts with Yahoo and am using Thunderbird to access them. It used to work properly, but now I can receive emails on both accounts, but can only send emails on one of them. The other account gives me the error message: "Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending email. The mail server responded: Request failed; Mailbox unavailable. Please verify that your email address is correct in your account settings and try again." When I then look at the SMTP user name, it shows the name for the other account. When I change that user name to the correct name, I can then send emails on that account, but the process also changes the user name in the second account, such that it no longer allows sending emails. In other words, when I go to 'account settings' and set the SMTP user name for account 1, then go to account 2 settings, I find that the account 1 user name shows up. If I then change the account 2 user name and go back to look at the settings for account 1, I find that the SMTP user name in account 1 has changed to the same as I just changed in account 2. Additional info: Prior to this problem, I had gone into my emails on the Yahoo website and changed the password on both accounts. When I then opened Thunderbird it asked me for the new passwords for each account, as it normally does, and everything looked fine until I tried to send using the one account. My thunderbird taskbar icon just started to display arabic numberals instead of roman numerals for the count of unread mail. It's weird because it doesn't always display the arabic when hovering over the taskbar, but it has done it more often than not the past few days.

The latest update put an unwelcome, large, Firefox logo on my shortcuts page. It crowds the page for no reason. Is there a setting to turn it off?

I'm just starting to use Calendar in the latest version of TB. I see that you can add little category color bars to each event. I tried to add a new category, but it disappeared from the dropdown menu as soon as I added it and a color bar never appeared in the event on the calendar display. How can I add and subtract categories? Can I change the colors assigned to categories?

My home page has a Firefox image and the word "Firefox" at the top. That's new here, and I don't want it. It chews up too much real estate, but I can't find a way to get rid of it. Nothing in the Settings appearance choices affects it. It didn't used to be there. How do I get rid of it?

Whenever I open a message from the inbox into its own window, the message text and images are tiny and unreadable until I zoom (Shift-Cmd-+) them larger. And when I reply to a message, the text is also starts out tiny, but gets larger when I Zoom it up with the original message. Similarly, the column-header icons of the inbox are tiny, while the text is OK.

All the rest of the interface is normal and readable, except for the tiny text and buttons in the interface-command/confirmation boxes.

I can adjust the font size and density from the "hamburger menu", just fine. And the MacOS 15.3.n-on-Intel settings seem right.

What am I missing? What else is there to change?

Hi, I you can give.have two HP printers that don't print. My 8620 Office Jet and the other is 8015e Office Jet Neither of them will print. Mechanical they work fine. I know that is I can run a test page with no problems. I would welcome any advice you can give. Thank you

Is there anyway to see what manifest version an Extension is using?

Going forward I would prefer most of the extensions I use to move to v3, except for a few which I know need v2 features.

I am selecting a link in Firefox to send an email to them and want to use Outlook 2021. When I try to choose an app to the "mailto" link I change from Firefox to Outlook 2021 and set as Always.

I get a message that I need to change in the Firefox settings. When I go the settings it says that Outlook 2021 is being used - but it is not the default.

How do I change the current default of Firefox to Outlook 2021?

I recently made an update and now got Firefox 136.

Now I´ve got the problem, that tabs where some sound is playing are getting resized.

There is no option for disable this and I haven´t found the specfic path for the about:config.

Any help would be welcome

I have been writing for the past couple of days to ask about the status of Firefox Shortcuts and have not received any responses from the Community or from Mozilla themselves.

I just read through 3 years of comments and questions regarding the problems with Firefox Shortcuts on the Main Page when opening Firefox itself. NOTHING has been done in 3 years regarding these problems, even though 99% of Mozilla / Firefox users want the features that EVERY OTHER MAJOR BROWSER already has.

Firefox automatically creates Shortcuts that I did not ask for, and that I do not need. Especially when the Shortcut is a duplicate of ones I already have.

The worst part is, now that there are duplicate icons as Shortcuts, they cannot be Dismissed. No matter how many times I select "Dismiss" from the 3 dot menu, the icons DO NOT go away. So, I have permanent Shortcut icons that I do not need staring me in the face EVERY TIME I'm using my computer.

Thanks, Mozilla, way to show how much you appreciate your users. Especially with last years campaign to get users thinking Mozilla actually cares that they are going after unscrupulous companies stealing our data to use with AI development.

I have the newest android version of firefox. I have my tabs set to automatically close after 24hrs. The problem is the tabs are not closing. Is there any other option that Ii can do to get them to close?

hey, I love Firefox and use it as my main web browser. But new tab audio indicator icon is too ugly for my taste. I can't believe this icon design is in 2024. I just can't stand it. How can I hide this ugly audio indicator? Please help.
