Are you using Firefox settings page, or going to the printers settings page?

I am just going to the 'about:config' menu in the url like it says to do to reset the printer settings. But on my firefox, it doesnt find the print:printer spool that is says needs to be reset.

I don't have a printer. The print:printer looks like the about: address Firefox uses for its settings, but not so with mine. I looked thru about:config, but there was nothing about resetting the printer here.

I think what you are suppose to do is first go to the printers command page. Then do the print:printer business. How you do that I don't know. Check your instruction book. It might be like going to a web page.
