Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options) key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

it might not be the solution to the problem, but ... did you try to restart your modem? or whatever it is you use to connect to the internet. after you closed ff.

[i had a time when some pages [no matter which domain-end they had] opened and some didn't although the night before it worked as normal. sometimes it helped.]

also, did you look at your hosts-file, if the domains are being blocked and therefore cannot be opened?
