I can't install Thunderbird on my notebook running windows embedded standard
It downloads and when I try to install is say "not a valid win 32 application".

What exactly did you download and from where?
Sorry - Thunderbird email and from the Mozilla download page.
Can you provide the link? What is your OS? 32 or 64 bit?

I don't know about Windows Embedded. When looking at the Release Notes Embedded isn't mentioned as a supported OS. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/31.5.0/system-requirements/
