I would like to get a warning on closing thunderbird when there are unsent messages.

I do get a warning when I start up again that there are unsent messages (if there are), but that is sometimes after a few days. And it is such a pity then that I didn't sent them earlier. A warning on closing thunderbird (e.g. "there are unsent messages, do you want to sent them now?" would be helpfull not to forget to sent them.

Is there a way to create such a warning?

Hi I located this addon which sounds like it will do what you want.

looking at the second image at that link, it shows you can set: MagicSLR preferences > At Shutdown tab to ask you if you want to send your unsent messages.

Download addon to your desktop or downloads folder.

In thunderbird: Tools > Addons OR Menu icon > Addons click on gear wheel icon and select : install addon from file' locate the file you downloaded and click on Open You may need to restart Thunderbird.
