scholar.google.co.in uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for www.google.com (Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)

It should work. The cert is legit (see attached).
It appears you use Kaspersky. Is Firefox working smoothly with Kaspersky's encrypted site scanning feature or are you encountering a lot of SSL site issues?
