So your entire operating system freezes. Is that right. What anti virus do you use?

This question appears to be abandoned by the original poster, so maybe I'm wasting my time, but here goes! I rely on y'all mozillians to advise me if so. I posted a bit of an answer, or at least a sort of 'me too' to [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1076754 another very similar question]. In that question, I believe it's just Thunderbird that is freezing/hanging. Certainly that is the case for several of us, if not the original poser of the question. That question does appear to be 'solved', though for me it's not fixed, nor for pencilartist, at the least. Yishmeray
