For the past two days every time I try to send a Tweet on Twitter Firefox seizes and is unresponsive. I can reply to a tweet or retweet but not start a new tweet. If I use Google Chrome, I have no difficulty but I prefer to use Firefox. This happened a few weeks ago also and cleared up after a couple of days. I don't know why this happens but it is very irritating every time it happens as I have to use Task Manager to stop it and restart Firefox.

I have cleared history, cookies & started Firefox in Safe Mode and still the problem persists. All Plug-ins are up to date. All updates have been installed and I am on version 44.0.2 of Firefox. Is there a compatibility problem between Twitter and Firefox 44?

This problem has once again cleared without me changing anything. This is puzzling as it only happens with Firefox & Twitter & only when I click Tweet to create a new Tweet.

Has anybody else experienced this problem and if so, do you know the cause.
