PDF behaviour - settings is getting back to "Save" instead of "Adobe" every several days..

Hello,

It seems a known issues, that from time to time (every several days) this specific setting (Options->Application->PDF) flips to "Save" instead of its default (Open with Adobe Reader).

It's happening for several months already (Using latest Firefox on Win7 systems).

any ideas? It seems to happen to others as well ...

These settings are stored in the mimeTypes.rdf file in the Firefox profile folder. I'm not aware of reports about issues you describe with this file.

Are you trying to open PDF files in the external Adobe Reader program or embedded in Firefox via the AR plugin?

I don't know if problems with the prefs.js file could cause this as problems with this file are much more common in relation to software like Advanced SystemCare.
