I inadvertently downloaded some kind of virus and ended up sweeping my computer several times with two reputable programs. But no matter what I do, IE keeps opening on a page called "http://navigation.iwatchavi.com/" and I was weirded out enough to stop using IE and install Firefox anew.

THEN the website shows now on my Firefox.

It no longer seems to be a real virus according to Anti-Malware and Avast, but how can I stop showing the site and just get Firefox to go to my default browser Google?

I changed my browser settings online as well as locally, but no matter how many times I erase it, the Target in Startup ends up including the command for this site.

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" http://navigation.iwatchavi.com/

I obviously erase the website, clean it with the two antivirus programs, restart it, and it comes right back. It no longer happens on Chrome.

IT IS LIKE A GHOST! HELP!

Just to make sure; Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.

Note: Some software, like Advanced SystemCare with Surfing Protection, can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes. If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.
