Error when deleting folder
I am trying to delete a folder and subfolder that accidently got separated (the two names were supposed to be on one folder.) Neither folder has anything in it. I keep getting the message in the screenshot attached. Redacted info is an email address. Any idea how I can get these deleted?

Did you have a slash in the original folder name? Folders in Thunderbird become files in your operating system and so need to obey the same rules as regular files. Characters such as ? * / and \ need to be avoided since they all have special meanings in file names. The server will in all likelihood also be creating folders using these names and will also have problems.
I think you should go to the email provider's website in your browser and see if you can delete the folders there.

Great idea! I went there and, although it would not let me delete the mail folder, when I deleted the subfolder they both disappeared! There wasn't a / in the name but there was a hyphen. But then I have hyphens in a couple other folder names and have no problem with them. Thanks bunches!!!
