I had a PC desktop system power outage while using an app called BOX to sync local files with a web folder. When I recovered my system from the outage, my stored passwords are no longer showing up in "OPTIONS -> SECURITY -> SAVED LOGINS".

The "OPTIONS -> SYNC" tab shows me as logged into my account, and I've tried logging out and back in -- at which point I get a message saying my account will sync momentarily, but the passwords do not come back.

I have 2 other devices, both android, sync'd to this same account.

Short of typing in all my saved passwords manually, how do I get Firefox to repopulate the saved password logins list correctly?

Thanks!

Hollywood_shooter,

First, disconnect all of the devices from the sync account before the blank login files is synced across devices. Right Away.

Second, look for a profile folder or device that has a timestamp the logins from before they disappeared.

Look for this file in the profile folder on the desktop: key3.db and logins.json and see Profiles - Where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data

If none of these files have the logins, I am sorry, unless you have a local back up you will have to login again.

If you do find the file, replace it in a new profile and restart firefox Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles
