Why do I have to enter my Master Password every time I open the Firefox browser?
Each time that I open the Firefox browser, it requests input of my Master Password before I can proceed. I know that I need to enter the Master Password to sign in to certain websites whose sign-in info I've saved, but why does it require the password just to browse? Can I disable this feature (or error)? I find myself constantly typing my password over and over again with every browsing session. It becomes quite tedious and I just don't see the point.

Are you using Sync?
You can check the startup setting.
- Options/Preferences -> General -> Startup: "When Firefox starts":
"Show my windows and tabs from last time"
"Show my home page"
"Show a blank page"
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
- Do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

You can check for problems with the sessionstore.js file in the profile folder that stores session data. When sessionstore.js is deleted you lose pinned tabs and open tabs and you will have to recreate them, so if necessary make a note or bookmark them.
You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:
- Help -> Troubleshooting Information -> Profile Directory:
Windows: Show Folder; Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder - http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox
