All history shows up in inbox by random dates, NO other files open. I uninstalled but same problems when re-installed?????? Total non -functional. Worked OK.
There are no error messages and there is no "not responding message. Some messages grouped by sender, most are random. It opened OK today, downloaded new messages, then crashed. The only thing that works is the scroll that shows 2 1/2 years( 18,000+) of emails.

Look at the Header bar. Which label has a small pointer on it? Sounds like it is going to be FROM. This is the one you clicked on to use as the sort category. If you want to sort by date click on DATE. Click DATE a second time to reverse the sort order.

Only the header buttons and the scroll work. None of the personal folders open. If it was a sort category issue, I would still be able to open other folders. Everything is locked.
