can I move my TB info from my dead DT to my NEW laptop, so I can read my e-m

Desk top crashed/dead (unuseable at this point). Bought a NEW laptob to at least get on the net. Can I/ how do get my TB e-m from my desktop over to my laptop? All support/helpers want to send me info/help to my TB box, BUT I can't get to e-m in TB to read them. Finally opened a "hotmail account to receive SOMETHING. Going crazy trying to figure out how to access my TB box. Have downloaded a TB software on this laptop to help IF I can do the move/access. Thanks for any help you can give. Caesar.....
