existing tabs opening to wrong pages

When I click on an existing tab it loads the wrong page. It is loading a page that is already open in a different tab from either that browser window or another window I have open. I have to hit the back button to get the original page I wanted to view in the first place.

I think firefox is also loading pages from my bookmarks.
