Today I noticed that when I Write an email Thunderbird (68.9.0) puts my wife's email address in the "From:" option box instead of mine. We've both had email accounts in Thunderbird for many years. Worked fine earlier today, but something has changed in the last couple of hours. Checked Tools, Account Settings and Outgoing Server for my account and it is correct. Same for wife's account. I am writing the email with my email address folders opened, not my wife's. What happened & how to fix it? Thank you.

Adding additional detail: This problem only occurs when I Write an email. The "From:" box displays and uses my email address correctly when I Reply to or Forward an email.

TB applies the account in the From box based on whatever folder is currently opened, so if a folder from your wife's account is selected, her account will appear in From when you click Write; same for your account. If it's not working that way, then there might be something wrong in your profile, but test to see if it's merely due to the folder selection.
