Message List item disappears on mouse over after 78.4.1 update

Running 78.4.1 32 bit on WinPro 7. Message list item text disappears upon mouse over. This happens only for unread items. Upon selection, the item reappears with normal blue highlighting/ This is with default theme. Changing to light or dark theme seems to remove this anomaly.
