If checking for new messages at startup has stopped working, try this: Help/More Troubleshooting, Profile Folder, Open Folder, close TB, delete session.json.

The Quick Filter Bar, Ctrl+Shift+K, can be hidden/displayed from View/Toolbars. Press Alt if the Menu Bar with View is hidden.

The column buttons such as Van or Datum can be moved left or right by drag and drop.

2.i wrote in my last post about this search bar/ in screenshot- deze berichten.../, you replied about a menu bar...3. this is my problem- these column buttons,as i said, dont moved...i can only make more place draging one of them but its not possible to change the position as my wish is to place this van-from at the first place from the left , then onderwerp =subjcet , datum as third one is ok... these all 3 can not be moved...now you know more ...

Drag and drop of the column buttons works on my setup. Try it in safe/troubleshoot mode (hold Shift when launching TB).

i am sorry that i am a bit...obtrusive but i mean this search bar not menu bar you gave a tip about how to hide it, see my new screenshot made by using this alt, this orange colour.this search bar is to see on my screenshot by last posts where you see a pin and deze berichten.. . can i hide this bar/switch off? i dont use it and what is this pin for which i dont use either...

Click View (Beeld), then under Toolbars, uncheck Quick Filter Bar (snelle filterbalk).
