ebay.com.au <--- fails to load page (Desktop Firefox 111.0.1)
Hi. Just a couple of days ago, Firefox lost the ability to load the website "ebay.com.au". The UK ebay website loads fine. As does the USA ebay website. I have tried running Firefox in troubleshooter mode disabling all extensions, no fix. I have been able to test this problem on one other Desktop PC, whom also is unable to load (ebay.com.au). Both PC's are 64-bit Windows 10 and have separate router and Internet connections. Both PC's are using the latest Desktop Firefox (111.0.1). I have tested disabling the software (BitDefender) Firewall on the PC, did not fix.

I am having the same issue although in my case it is with the ebay.com (US) website. Discovered it today. I did use ebay.com a few days ago and it was working fine. Works just fine on Chrome and Safari.
Computer and internet gear all rebooted, no change.
Latest version of Firefox 111.0.1 on a Mac running Monterey 12.6.3 Will not lead even with all extensions off and DOH also turned off.
Show the issue(s). What are you getting when trying to open the site? Both sites work for me. see screenshots If you're running Windows Pro, try this option to test Firefox in VM. https://www.howtogeek.com/399290/how-to-use-windows-10s-new-sandbox-to-safely-test-apps/

What do you have set here? see screenshot
Hi jonzn4SUSE,
Thanks for your suggestions. Was not aware of the Windows Sandbox, that's nifty.
Long story short. After roughly 5 days of failing to load, I tested it this morning on multiple PC's and the ebay.com.au website now is loading correctly on Desktop Firefox. It was a VERY strange one. To answer your questions...
1. When attempting to load the ebay page via URL, it remained blank. No error message. 2. If using Google Search to bring up ebay.com.au, then clicking on the link? The page would load correctly. 3. If using 'private' browser, the page would load correctly. 4. If installing Firefox in Win Sandbox, the page would load correctly.
Its doing it again for me today.... I dread it, but Im considering having to use Chrome or Edge if this is now a regular thing :(
As of writing, am not experiencing the issue again personally.
Yup - Same here, working again. Any ideas on whats causing it?
It's weird that's it's 'flapping'. That is, it's a problem. Then resoloves itself, without any software changes by user. Then problem again, then resolves. Weird. Beyond my technical knowledge.
I'm using Google as my DNS provider, not my ISP. Are you the same?
