unable to use Thunderbird to receive or send email since updating my password with my ISP

more options

I have read many of the help articles on setting up Thunderbird. I followed steps to set up a Primary password, but this did not help me reset my ISP's new passwords. I tried renaming the files in my profile folder: cert9.db, key4.db, and logins.json but it did not help so I renamed the new files and restored the originals. I removed the saved passwords because it had no option to edit (edit was grayed out). I removed the Primary password, hoping that it would prompt me to enter my new password. My ISP advised that I should use the Connection Security of "None" and Authentication method of "Password, transmitted insecurely". These settings are in my Thunderbird profile for pop3 and smtp. I have Thunderbird Beta 122.0b1 on my Windows 10 computer.

Is there any way to get Thunderbird to prompt me for a pop3 and smtp password, now that I have removed the Saved passwords?
Do I have to uninstall Thunderbird? We've used it for about 10 years and had been happy with it.

Can I get a live person to help me? Since I am not able to use Thunderbird to receive or send emails, I will be responding from gmail (which had zero issues using the updated passwords). We just prefer Thunderbird on our farm office computer.

I will cite it here, then:

Options-Security-Passwords-Saved Passwords Click Show Passwords Right click password and select Edit

The challenge dialog should have a choice to re-enter the new password also.
