My Norton toolbar wont show on firefox on my new computer, I am using the same version of norton

I have just installed firefox on my new computer and there is no norton to bar on it anymore, I am using the same version of norton as I used on my old computer. In the add-ons box it says that the norton toolbar isn't compatible with my version of firefox. Does this affect my internet security.
