firefox won't open, flashes super quickly on screen, won't load on main profile but will load on my daughter's profile

firefox was working fine. I got an error message about a plugin container. Sent report. Now since then I can't load firefox on my main profile. My 11 year old also has a profile on our notebook and she can access her firefox, but mine won't even load. It flashes on the screen for a split second and disappears.
