Am trying to restore from this backup (Firefox 3.6.12 (en-US) - 2010-11-18.pcv) I made but can not find out how.

I made the backup from Firefox 3.6.12 with the backup program provided by Mozella. I made this backup from a prior computer and therefore do not have the restore program available, which is part of the backup program. I will have the same question for Thunderbird because I used the same program. PLEASE HELP!

That backup program isn't from Mozilla, it's a 3rd party program. You probably used MozBackup to do that PCV backup.
