my bookmarks are opening with BBC junk, not what i bookmarked!
When i switched to Firefox 4 Beta, something happened to all my bookmarks. I had major problems with the beta version, ie crashed every few minutes! I removed the beta version and went back to 3.6.10 version, then downloaded the new Firefox 4. Still am having the same prblem with all my bookmarked items. Clicking on a bookmarked item results in one of many things (except reaching the original bookmarked site): ads.bluelithium....,ad.wsod..., bbc.co.uk..., facebook...., among others. Please HELP!! Thank you. Ive been using MozillaFirefox for many years and have never had any problems.

This can happen if there is a problem with the file that stores bookmarks. For details on how to fix that see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Locked_or_damaged_places.sqlite
