My daughter's online school will only work with 3.x, where can I find the older version to download and do I need to remove 5.x to do so?

Question above, I hope is self explanatory. The online school has not updated their application for IE9 or FF5 so she needs a 3.x version to take her classes. This for High School courses not a university.
