I upgraded to Firefox 6 from 3.6 and lost all my bookmarks from the past year. Can't find them in the profile bookmarks folder. Please help!!

I am using Win XP. I also used Sandboxie with Firefox but that version did not upgrade, it still is 3.6. What's weird is that both sets of new bookmarks, the ones in the sandbox 3.6 version and the new 6.0 version, are both gone! Please help me! Thank you!

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
