In IE, triple clicking will select an antire paragraph. In Firefox, double-clicking will select a word, but it stops there. Is there a way to get the IE behavior?
In IE and most Windows apps, double-click will select a word and triple click will select a paragraph. In Firefox on Windows WP, double-click selects a word, but triple click does nothing more.
Is there some way I can get Firefox to select the paragraph?

Triple-click still works for me in Firefox 6.0.2.
Try the Firefox SafeMode.
A troubleshooting mode, which disables most Add-ons.
(If you're not using it, switch to the Default Theme.)
- You can open the Firefox 4/5/6/7 SafeMode by holding the Shft key when you use the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
- Or use the Help menu item, click on Restart with Add-ons Disabled... while Firefox is running.
To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the Firefox shortcut (without the Shft key) to open it again.
If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one.

I closed all browser windows, then Shift-clicked on the Firefox icon. I got a little dialog box asking if I wanted to make any of the options permanent. I clicked on "Continue is Safe Mode". When it opened, I went to several different websites, but the behavior is the same. Double-click works, but triple-click doesn't.
I'm running 6.0.2.
Maybe that pref got turned off??
Type about:config in the URL bar and hit Enter.
If you see the warning, you can confirm that you want to access that page.
Filter = browser.triple_click_selects_paragraph = should be true
If it is false, double-click it to toggle it to true. Then restart Firefox.

Wow! That's a feature I never knew anything about. Cute warning about voiding my warranty. ;-)
Alas, it is set to True:
Status = default Type = boolean Value = true
