If I try to go to a page that requires Adobe, it tells me that I have to get out of my current web browser to view. I never had been told this before. What is happening?

I went to texasrealtors.com, which I am a member of. I wanted to view a page about realtors and this is what popped up:

Adobe Acrobat/Reader that is running cannot be used to view PDF files in a Web Browser. Please exit Adobe Acrobat/Reader and exit your Web Browser and try again.

I do not know what to do?
