on cliking the firefox icon on screen,firfox use to open almost immediatly

On clicking the firefox icon, it use to start/open almost immediately. It now takes about 12 to 15 secs before it starts/open. Internet Explorer seem to opens faster then firefox does.

One of the biggest problems that can cause slow Firefox start up is your add-ons. First question would be, did you install any new add-ons recently? The other is to ensure all of your add-ons are up to date.

Something I usually do to find the culprit is to disable all of my add-ons and then, start re-enabling them until I find the point at which I can see my start-up time being impacted.

Please let me know if you could track down the add-on or if none of this worked for you.
