I am having a problem "associating" .jpg, .jpeg files with FireFox. I would like to open .jpg files with FireFox when I am using FireFox as my browser.

I have tried to associate the .jpeg files with FireFox, but the configuration will not be saved, see below. BTW, this used to work just fine. It started acting up a few days ago, with only some .jpeg files, now it happens with all of them.

I have tried to do the same thing with PowerPoint and it works just fine, see below.

I am using FireFox 7.0.1, on an XP PC with Release 3.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Mark G Anderson

Did you check the .JPG setting in Control Panel > Folder Options > File Types ?

Thanks for your help. Yes, I can go into the Control Panel and associate a .jpeg file to FireFox, I knew that worked. I wanted to know why it did not work within FireFox.

Thanks,
