How do I set a preferred homepage in FF 15.0.1 for android?
There is no way I can set the hompage on the FF app for Android. I use this app on my galaxy tab 10.1 (P7500), Galaxy S3 (I9300) & galaxy S2 (I9100).
When i long press on the url and select "add to home screen" the message "there is no more space on this home page".
It would make the app more intuitive if user could just "set as home page" when long pressing on the url.
FF for Android has improved leaps and bounds but this "basic" feature that is absent makes the experience a tad frustrating..at least for me..
Thank you for the attention and thank you for a great browser!

Correct. There is currently no way to set a preferred homepage. By default the provided home-page is about:home.
"When i long press on the url and select "add to home screen" the message "there is no more space on this home page"."
This is referring to adding shortcuts to your Android home-screen. If a page on your Android home-screen is completely full of shortcut's, you will need to add more space or more screens depending on your launcher.

In the past we found that setting a home-page altered our startup performance. It's certainly possible that the feature will return at some point in the future.

Sorry to hear that, but we're glad that you've filed this support ticket and are using Firefox on your Android device. We welcome all feedback.
