Firefox won't remove Downloaded files from your computer while clearing History. If Browsing & Download History is checked/selected ( Firefox >> History >> Clear Recent History, click on the down arrow on the left of Details ) in History, Firefox will clear the file names from Downloads page. But it won't remove files from your computer's Hard Disk. If you want to locate the Firefox Download Directory,

1. At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button and then select Options.
2. Select the General panel.

Under Downloads, on the right of Save files to option, you can find the Downloads Directory for Firefox. If you click on the Browse.. button, it will take you to that folder/directory and there you can find your downloaded files.

If you don't wish to clear Download History while clearing Firefox History, you can disable it :

Firefox >> History >> Clear Recent History, click on the down arrow on the left of Details and uncheck Browsing & Download History.

Hello, also, if you have set when you close firefox to Clear history when Firefox closes (Options > Privacy > Set Firefox will: to Use custom settings for history > Clear history when Firefox closes[v]) then click the Settings... button (beside the Clear history when Firefox closes[v]) and UNcheck Download history [ ] > click OK to close the Settings for Clearing History window and again click OK to close the Options window, and you are.....OK.

1. Tap 'Menu' (on some devices this is along the bottom edge of the device, on others it is a software menu on the top right)
2. Tap 'Settings' (on some devices you may have to tap 'More' first)
3. Tap 'Privacy'
4. Tap 'Clear private data'
5. Uncheck "Downloaded files" and uncheck whatever else you don't want cleared.
6. Tap 'Clear data'

But there is no way to clear only download list like we do in PC,it delete files even if we want to clear the list only.
