In the past it was easy to rearrange tabs or move them into a new window. They don't move at all since I went to 27.0.1.

Additional info -- it looks like it's not a Firefox problem. I discovered I was unable to move icons on my desktop either. I could resize windows and mark text, but drag wasn't working. I rebooted and now everything is fine, including Firefox tabs. I'm sorry for the trouble, but baffled as to how Windows 7 stopped responding to drag and drop.

Hello, can you please try restarting Firefox in Safe mode and see whether you can move tabs or not. see this for starting Firefox in safe mode: Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode

Hi Aman. I tried your suggestions, and with hardware acceleration off and starting in Safe mode, I am still unable to move tabs.
