I have upgraded firefox and lost the security pad lock symble, how can I get it back

I upgraded my Fire Fox, and now the security padlock symbol, which came up when you were entering a secure site, now does not. I was wondering how to get this back, as now I do not know if I am secure.

The Site Identity Button contains security information about the website, the old padlock is gone as is the Statusbar where it resided.

This extension will add a lock to the SIB.
