In Android Mozilla before 41.0 version ,i open android apps by URL with some custom scheme like 'fb://' but it is not working in 41.0.2 version. When i search by this scheme 'fb://' in bower search field if facebook is installed in the device it will open if not then a search button shows at bottom of browser when i click it then it open google play store and show the app at store.

At the moment these would open up with an app of choice I thought however can you please provide a valid link for testing?

Hi Guigs , following is link by which i try to open app if installed in device else show search button at bottom area of browser when i click button open the google play store and filter app by defined scheme. Create anchor in html file and open in phone browser. <a href="fb://?af_cid=145&ad2csrc=1&type=native&eventid=xyz123">click to refer app</a>
