I've update my computer to Windows 10 recently. Previously I've not had any problems using group email addresses but now it comes up with the message not of the form user@ host which I do not understand. I would be grateful if someone could tell me what I need to do to successfully activate my group email addresses.

When that happens, I think it means that the address book data file is corrupted. The usual remedy is to rebuild your Mailing List.

Make a new List. Make sure it is visible in the left hand column. Select and open the broken List and its contents will appear in the right hand pane. Now you can select all of these, using ctrl+a, and drag them into the new List by dropping onto its icon in the left hand pane.

At this point you can delete the old List and rename the new List back to the old name.
