gmail folder
I want my ThunderBird show folders as usual for email whem I use gmail. As you know, emails hosted on gmail open folders differently in Thunderbird and I do not like this way. How do I make Thunderbird only shows folders in the usual way even if I use gmail?

I Followed your recommendations, but beyond that, I deleted the gmail folder and has worked well even without restart Thunderbird. Thank you very much

What exactly is different that you don't like?
That's the normal Imap 5 folders <MYADRESS COMMON> INBOX
DRAFTS SENT JUNK TRASH
That's the gmail 8 folders <MY ADRESS GMAIL> INBOX
JUNK
GMAIL
DRAFTS
SEND
ALL EMAILS
SPAN
TRASH
This Gmail takes up too much space with useless folders and spamassassin does not work right
Try this: Right click on gmail imap mail account in Folder Pane and select 'Settings' Select 'Server Settings' click on 'Advanced' button Imap server directory: type... [Gmail] click on OK click on OK
Restart Thunderbird. Report back on results.
