I followed these instructions: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/signatures#w_including-image-files-in-signatures

I created a HTML signature, with three small images attached to it (company logo, and two small social icons). When I compose a message, everything seems OK. When Someone recieves the message, everything is all right as well, the signature shows perfectly fine, absolutely no attachments and no need to click "Show images in the e-mail" or anything like that. All is well.

However, in most cases, when someone replies, the images get lost (I can only see the borders with teared paper icon), and/or paper-clip icon, and three small attachments in the e-mail - which is unacceptable.

I triple checked, I followed all the instructions from the link above. What could I do?

Thank you.

How other email clients treat and manage inline attachments is really not something that you or I have any control over. If they do it poorly they can convert the most carefully contrived document to rubbish. But if you are as old as me you will be familiar with word processing documents that will not wrap properly to print because the author has pressed return at the end of each line like a typewriter. Same thing applies. Unless you have control of all steps of the production process the final result is somewhat in the lap of the gods.

You might find however that is is only a Thunderbird setting on what you see. Viewing attachments inline often makes for posts to this forum.

View menu (alt+V) > and turn of the view attachments inline will remove visual duplication of some images.
