How do I eliminate ALL push notifications?

more options

I don't want to stop push notifications for any single URL, I want it GONE from my browser entirely.

Why would you force this on users without a simple way to turn it off? Doesn't the word PUSH give you an idea about how intrusive it is?

1.Visit about:config copy/paste into Address Bar then Enter and accept.

2. Find the preference dom.webnotifications.enabled and change its value to false. Copy/Paste into the search bar in about:config and once found double click to change to false.

3. Done.

From now on, no website will request you to show notifications in Firefox browser, including those related to desktop.

Bear in mind that websites sometimes show their own little enticements to accept notifications, which they display before triggering Firefox's internal permission mechanism. For example:

Setting Firefox to ignore permission requests from all sites will not block those overlays. You would need to use a content filter like an ad blocker for that. Or don't use annoying sites. ;-)
