When using current firefox Malwarebytes flags sr.sycmd.com and refers to firefox.exe.
When browsing various website my Malwarebytes flags firefox.exe as attempting to access sr.sycmd.com and blocks it. This has never been a problem previously but it is with version 57, 64 bit. Is this a security risk?

It is a false positive. Do a manual update of Maywarebytes database. It should solve the problem.
