Hi,

I have a lot of bookmarks on my Win 10 PC (less than 5000), I created an account to be able to sync bookmarks with my android phone. At first all the Bookmarks synced and it seemed like all is well, but Firefox was working slowly (blank page for 20-30 sec before loading a website). I installed Nightly, it worked a lot faster. I added my Bookmarks to Nightly as well but they were only some of them. I tried reinstalling, ended up reinstalling both Firefox and Nightly a couple of time but the Bookmarks don't sync. The last thing I did was going to my account's settings and disconnecting the device (leaving only the PC connected with the FF account), then installing Firefox on Android again, logging in to sync bookmarks, it synced for some seconds, the folders are there but most of them are empty, no matter how many times I manually sync.

Now, interestingly, Firefox (not Nightly, just regular FF) on Android loads a lot faster (the only thing I've done is reinstall it a couple of times, nothing else that I can think of that is performance related) - it takes 2-3 sec to show some of the website and in 2 more sec it's fully loaded (always testing with the same website).

Any ideas how I can fix the bookmarks? I have 4000 bookmarks btw, they are less than 5k but still a lot, no idea if it might be bugging the whole syncing process in some way (and if it is it might have something to do with why it was so slow and now it's better, but not all bookmarks are there)... Ideas?

Ok, small update... I haven't done anything else for the last 30 min, now a big bookmarks folder is missing on my desktop FF (and maybe more bookmarks are missing, I don't know [EDIT: 200+ Bookmarks missing] ) (rofl)... I have a .json backup of my bookmarks (there's the restore function as well), no harm done... but that's not supposed to happen, I connect an android device, I can't get my bookmarks on it AND they start mysteriously disappearing from my PC? A bit too much...

[EDIT 2:] It seems Firefox has a personal issue with my Folder "TO SORT". That's the folder I noticed missing (I have a bookmark folder with the name "TO SORT") I restored my bookmarks from a .json backup. My folder was there. I connected Win 10 PC Firefox to the account (again). The folder disappeared again, immediately. Also - restoring from the Firefox Bookmark restore points ("Import & Backup" -> "Restore" -> "DAY / DATE" doesn't restore this folder, for some reason... I'm lucky I have my .json file backed up.

If anyone has an idea what and why is happening please tell me - it will be appreciated. If not - I hope it reaches the devs and it's useful in some way...
