Where is the option to make New Windows open BLANK with the cursor blinking in the Address field, ready for input (as in other browsers)?

When I invoke a New Window, I almost always prefer to immediately start typing the URL, maybe wait a moment for autocomplete, and hit ENTER. No clicking into the Address field, no waiting for Home Page to load. I am looking for the option to have my New Windows open BLANK with the cursor blinking in the Address field, ready for input (as in other browsers)? Is there a Preferences setting for this obvious option that I'm overlooking?

Hi, so to have a New Window open as Blank you would have to change your settings to When Firefox starts Show A Blank Page by about:blank as your Hompage So in other words you would not have a Home Page with anything on it any longer.

As well if you set the New Tab from the cogwheel at right top of a New Tab to show nothing then you can set the Home Page to about:newtab and then no pages what so ever will have anything, all will be blank.

So that is the options, a home page that is blank and new tabs that are blank using either about:blank as the home page or about:newtab as the home page.
