A number of screens ago I was referred to Mozilla Support for a problem with downloading the iHeartRadio app from the Microsoft App Store. In several attempts to search for "iHeartRadio" I get not one return hit.

When trying to download the iHeartRadio app I get a File Association Error and the app never downloads. Having contacted iHeartRadio, they either will not or cannot provide a file type, as I believe I could manually set the file type. The error message however states it is a Firefox error.

After a couple of hours, I have all but given up!! Thanks. if anyone can offer a suggestion?

Windows apps issues aren't a firefox problem here. Did you contact the Windows Apps store support? Also file associations issue are Windows related the Browser doesn't control that. It can also be a used caused issue as well if they set the wrong settings in the Windows file associations.

You can browse apps in the Microsoft Store using any internet browser (including Firefox), but as soon as you click to download one, it's going to direct you to the Microsoft Store on your Windows computer. If you don't have the Microsoft Store app installed on your system, you won't be able to download the app.

The Microsoft support team is the place to go for help with this issue. Firefox doesn't have much control over downloading apps from the Microsoft Store, so we likely won't be much help.

Thanks. I have been trying for the past hour plus to get into the Microsoft Store. I see it has been a problem for a couple of years on MS Store support. Enough!!
