firefox blocks much fewer trackers than duckduckgo privacy add-on or disconnect add-on?

more options

I follows the instructions on this page to enable level 2 block list from disconnect.me:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/content-blocking#w_block-lists-in-firefox

Then I access https://www.cvs.com/. Firefox reports two trackers were blocked:

bat.bing.com platform.twitter.com

If I install duckduckgo privacy add-on and access the same page, the add-on reports and blocks 7 more trackers:

se.monetate.net Dpm.demdex.net googletagmanager.com googleadservices.com Connect.facebook.net Platform.twitter.com c.go-mpulse.net Pixel.mathtag.com

(From what I can tell, duckduckgo seems to use a track list bundled in its code: https://github.com/duckduckgo/duckduckgo-privacy-extension/tree/develop/shared/data/tracker_lists)

I also tried the free disconnect add-on from disconnect.me. It reports more trackers than firefox built-in blocker too.

Any comments?

I use the Standard setting and tested in a private window. Tons blocked, as shown in the attached screenshot. Is it possible you made an exception (allowed blocked content) at some point in your current session?

Note: most of these would have been blocked by the NoScript extension, so I had to turn off that block so Firefox could see and block the trackers.
